- Ignorance is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Funders continue to fund using social criteria as the ruler and fail to consider the need for behavioral and attitudinal changes in society.

- It is not about 'sharing the wealth.' It's more about how is it spent. The reasons for deteriorating budgets and increasing budget deficits is not due to overspending, but rather to mis-spending. Legislators continue to operate under old practices because it ensure job security.

- Non-profits have historically become maintenance programs. The old administrative practices and service delivery approaches are obsolete. The search for an immediate solution is characteristic and is based on a crisis mentality.
